In order to ensure that the cultural exchange between Japan and the Netherlands persists, and that artists can continue to express their creativity in the difficult context of the pandemic, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Japan has set up a studio in its building and is committed to provide technical support by improving its digital environment.
COVID-19 has hit the cultural sector in Japan and the Netherlands, making it difficult for those working in this field. International cultural exchanges and events have been severely affected, postponed or cancelled, and travel between the two countries has been restricted. Despite this, creative talents in both countries are exploring new ways of doing things and experimenting with new forms of collaboration and exchange. In order to ensure that these efforts do not go to waste and that cultural exchange can continue, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Japan provides technical support by setting up a studio in its building, which is run by the staff themselves.
